Call of Duty Mobile is still top dog among mobile shooter games. Zombies mode, Battle Royale and launch of Season 3.

Since Call of Duty Mobile hit mobile device stores, it has seen nothing but success. The iOS and Android version of the king of online shooter games is healthier than ever and getting non-stop updates. Season 3 has just come out and Zombies mode and Battle Royale have millions of players all over the world hooked. And if you haven’t fallen prey to it yet but fancy trying it out, we have some tips to help you triumph in all of the modes. Straight to the battleground

Get comfortable with the touch controls

It can feel a bit strange at first, especially if you’re used to playing on a console or computer, but the CoD: Mobile touch controls are really well integrated and implemented. There are two options: simple or advanced. In simple mode, just point and move, the weapon shoots and reloads automatically. In advanced mode, you have to aim, shoot and reload manually. It’s all very simple and intuitive, so you’ll be perfectly trained from the first match. Enemy casualties will increase as you play.

But, here’s a little secret, playing with a Bluetooth controller can make you the absolute king of the battlefield. Try it, but don’t tell anyone...

Get better weapons and equipment

CoD: Mobile has a massive amount of weapons, main and secondary, to adapt to your playing style. Short- and long-range rifles, machine guns, shotguns... And they’ve been improved to make them even more lethal and precise. You can also level up your weapons with scopes, enhanced magazines, silencers or grips. You can get these attachments with cards you’ll find in the loot boxes when you level up. Each point improved is a new attachment you can add. The best is to choose a weapon you’re comfortable with and improve it as much and quickly as possible. Your rivals won’t stand a chance.

Choose your class wisely in Battle Royale

Defender, Mechanic, Scout, Clown, Medic, Ninja and Airborne. These are the classes you can choose from before starting a match in Battle Royale. They all have their pros and cons, but are equally balanced so none stand out above the rest. The best is to try them out, one by one, to experience their skills and see which one fits your gaming style best or which one your squad needs. A few first matches of trial and error will help you learn the mechanics, find the hotspots on the map and learn how to play more seriously to win it all.

In Zombies mode, choose what to invest your coins in wisely

Zombies mode is a bloodthirsty battle for survival against waves of the undead and an abominable, very difficult, Final Boss. You have to be prepared. So, for each zombie you kill, you’ll get coins. Use the coins to buy weapons, advantages, ammunition or the chance to revive.

In Survival horde mode, you have to know how to manage your resources and not use them up carelessly. Our tip is to hold out with your original weapon as long as possible and then start buying more powerful ones from wave 5. This way, you’ll get to the final phases with an arsenal worthy of a nuclear power. The blood of fallen zombies and points will shower down from the skies.

Playing with a Squad, the key to success

Cooperation is always essential in online gaming. But being on a team is especially crucial for Battle Royale or Horde mode. In fact, and we’re speaking from experience, it makes all the difference between winning and losing.

In Battle Royale, knowing how to play in a Squad will be a big help in taking you into the final phase and playing to win. A coordinated, cooperative four-player Squad with a common goal is nearly invincible. Communication options are easy and very effective, especially when requesting cover or revival.

In Zombie mode, fighting hordes of the undead isn’t the same on your own as it is with company. The abominable Final Boss isn’t as hard with four weapons as it is with one. So, before starting a match, don’t forget to tick the “fill the squad” box.

In quick and balanced matches, make the most of your class abilities

As you level up, various tabs will unlock, where you can set up your character’s secondary abilities. These abilities will give you weapons, endurance, the ability to take munitions from dead rivals or allies, quicker movements, etc. It is best to equip yourself with useful abilities that give you a clear advantage over your enemies. We recommend choosing health and recovering ammunition. In terms of secondary weaponry, you can unlock a flamethrower to burn rivals to a crisp, rocket launchers or machine guns for long- and short-range attacks (for direct attacks, the flamethrower is perfect). Finally, knowing when to launch a drone attack, especially in a very tight match, can be the final push your team needs to be victorious.
