How to level up reputation quickly on GTA Online

GTA Online isn’t showing any signs of fizzling out. It continues to beat sales records and entertain thousands of players each week, but some people are just starting now or have gradually left it behind.

With the many updates and new content added to the game, it’s more important than ever to level up reputation so you can take part in the newest content. That’s why reputation is so important on GTA Online, not only for levelling up but also for unlocking all those missions. It can be tedious, though, or not totally clear how to do so quickly, or at least which activities are the most efficient. That’s why we have some tips to help you invest your time wisely in the activities that get you the most points.

Take advantage of Adversary Modes

These modes are team competitions with more complex challenges that require participants to work together. In exchange, though, you’ll get loads of reputation points.

Collect crate drops

Sometimes crates will drop in various parts of the map, shown in the upper left corner of the screen. Of course, they’re protected and you have to kill the people defending them, but don’t feel sorry for them. They could be carrying a ton of reputation points on them.

Pay attention to the Newswire

Every Tuesday, Rockstar updates the events and shares which ones get you double reputation points. These can be a good opportunity to get a lot of points. Not all the events are worth it, but it’s always a good idea to have a look just in case.

Join an organisation

It’s a multiplayer game, take advantage. At a certain point, several players can purchase an office and start their own organisation, as partners. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities to get reputation points with help from other players who want the same thing.

Races

This method is mostly helpful at the beginning. Completing races, you don’t even have to win, will get you quite a few reputation points. It isn’t loads, but you can do several races in a row without losing too much time. That’s the good thing about the races normally being short. Later on it can become tedious and may not seem like you get enough in return, but to start off or kill some time, it’s a good option.

Lose the cops

A classic. Who hasn’t run from the cops in GTA? It may not be the most efficient way, and it’s risky if you do it too much, but it’s fun and can be combined with other activities. You just need a good vehicle that lets you drive well and fast. Plus, it can help if you know the streets and some shortcuts.
