What is Los Santos Drug Wars, the new GTA Online story?

Los Santos Drugs Wars is the opening chapter in a mind-blowing new GTA Online story update, focusing on a ragtag group of newcomers led by Dax, a man on the edge with high hopes of getting the world high, getting himself rich and climbing to the top of the Southern San Andreas criminal pyramid. The new adventure features six new story missions where we’ll help Dax and his bunch of hard-partying nonconformists, the Fooliganz, who are looking to set up shop in Blaine County:

First Dose - Uncontrolled Substance
First Dose - Make War not Love
First Dose - Off the Rails

How do you start the new GTA Online story?

To start this new GTA Online adventure, you’ll have to answer a call from Ron Jakowski, former associate of Trevor and one of the four Fooliganz along with Dax, Luchadora and Labrat. Then, meet up with the Fooliganz above Liquor Ace in Sandy Shores to start the First Dose of the six missions, which will transport you to a new base of operations — The Freakshop — to prepare to take on the Lost and other adversaries. Of course, there’ll be new equipment, such as a mobile acid lab at the back of the new MTL Brickade 6x6, which includes the Maibatsu Manchez Scout C bike.

In addition to these new missions, the new update to GTA Online also includes new clothing and tattoos, experience enhancements (such as increased payments on smuggling sales missions, the ability to conduct business sales missions from the Benefactor Terrorbyte in all session types or to do Agatha’s Casino Story Missions solo), an HSW race creator (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only) and five new vehicles:

Expect a host of other new additions from GTA Online, such as new vehicles, events around the world and gameplay enhancements, including new encounters and festive collectibles starting next week, opportunities at Downtown Cab Co., a mobile arsenal that will offer exclusive items, street dealers will pay extra for your product, a garage with the largest capacity so far, and much more.
