WoTLK Classic Inscription Guide 1-450
Inscription is one of the most useful professions in Wrath of the Lich King, giving players the tools to create glyphs and scrolls to boost certain skills. Read on to level up your Inscriptionist skills from 1 to 450.
As with any profession, the first stop is to visit the inscription trainer (at faction capitals, such as Thrallmar, Honor Hold or Dalaran) to teach you this primary profession.

MATERIALS
Here’s what kind of plants you can grind to get the different pigments in the game:
Alabaster Pigment: Earthroot, Peacebloom, Silverleaf.
Dusky Pigment and Verdant Pigment: Briarthorn, Bruiseweed, Mageroyal, Stranglekelp, Swiftthistle.
Golden Pigment and Burnt Pigment: Grave Moss, Kingsblood, Liferoot, Wild Steelbloom.
Emerald Pigment and Indigo Pigment: Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar’s Whisker, Wintersbite.
Violet Pigment and Ruby Pigment: Arthas’ Tears, Blindweed, Firebloom, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood, Purple Lotus, Sungrass.
Silvery Pigment and Sapphire Pigment: Dreamfoil, Golden Sansam, Icecap, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom.
Nether Pigment and Ebon Pigment: Felweed, Ragveil, Terocone, Ancient Lichen, Nightmare Vine, Netherbloom, Mana Thistle, Dreaming Glory.

Armor Vellum up to 75 points.
Midnight Ink up to 80 points.
Any glyph with orange levelling quality up to 100 points.
Lion’s Ink up to 105 points.
Any glyph with orange levelling quality up to 125 points.
Dawnstar Ink up to 130 points.
Any glyph with orange levelling quality up to 147 points.
Strange Tarot up to 150 points.
Jadefire Ink up to 155 points.
